Hello all, and welcome to this post :) I will keep this one rather short as I am now on to Version 3 of the collasiple card constructions and the past 2 are already uploaded either on the blog with full step by step instructions or have their own YouTube video
Version 1 - Pop Up Pillar Cards.. Version 2 - See Tutorial Below
So on to today..... and Version 3!
Unlike the Version 1 & Version 2, I have opted for just one pillar on each side of my card, and made it much thinner so that it gives a more subtle look of the card.
One thing I will always stress though, is for you to play around and create your own dimensions...but by all means follow mine to the letter if you wish..
However, by actually playing around with different heights, widths, depths and even the amount of pillars can lead you to create some amazing different versions.
As I've mentioned, this is Version 3, and I have a feeling in the future we will be adding more to the list lol. So for this card you will need -
A square of white card to form the back of the constructions. - 7.5"x7.5"
Two pieces of card to create the pillars - 5.5"x7.5"
Fold round and glue together so the two 0.5" strips line up to create an open ended tube/box/pillar. Glue one of these to the right & left side of the 7.5X7.5" piece of card.
Decorate as you wish to!
Then bring in a sheet of acetate 7.5"x7.5" and glue to the front of pillars, making sure it all perfectly lines up. Hey presto! You have a collapsible card!
For my card I decorated it with all the bits and bobs on you will find here -

Hello! I really enjoyed your content. Of course I subscribed to you. I can recommend you to use more editing in your videos. For example, free mkv to mp4 converter will allow you to work fully on your new videos. If you want to get advice on this matter, just write to me in PM.
Thank you so much for this lovely video I'm scared of making new different types of cards and I'm petrified when I read them from magazines (I have learning difficulties so number scare me). You've made the videos so lovely to understand I'm not too fast I wish and enjoy watching new ones though out the year. I'm going to give it a go.
I think I'm now a fan!
Thank you Jamie, thats one I will make
