Hello all....

Today I share a card style called Diorama

This is where you can put in layers, attached to strips of card - inside at the bottom...

However today I’ve used the technique to create like a shadow frame... amazingly simple to do, and looks beautiful!

Step 1

Take two pieces of Polar White Elite Card measuring 10 x 6 inches each.

Score at 1 inch and 2 inches on each end of each piece as seen in Picture 1 📸.

Next take the Floral Melody Stamp and stamp out your image onto white card using your

Black Panther Quick Dry Pigment Ink Pad.

Now take the Square Frame Die Set (above) and your stamped card; cut out the largest frame.

You now have a frame and the piece in the middle!

Colour in the middle piece with your preferred mediums, and leave the frame in black and white.

📝 NOTE - Here I've used pencils.

Now take one of the Plain Square Dies and cut a square out of the middle of one of the scored pieces of card.

📝 NOTE - I haven't made a note, however the one you want is the one that will fit the black and white frame on it.

Step 2

Next take the scored piece of card that doesn’t have the aperture, and cover the inside back with a square using Seashell Blue Elite Card.

Place this onto the bench flat, and then lay the piece WITH the aperture on top.

✅ TIP - I used my magnetic board to hold mine in place.

I then stuck the coloured Floral Melody piece onto the inside back on the Seashell Blue Card on foam tape before setting aside.

Next take the piece with the aperture and stick the black and white frame on the edge.

Mine wasn’t quite the fit I wanted, so as you can see in Picture 4 📸 I stuck some

Rose Petal Pink Card around the back so it had a bit more to stick to.

Then as you can see in Picture 3 📸, I stuck some strips of Seashell Blue Card around the edge of the frame. These were cut using the handy Straight Lines Die (above).

Step 3

Next cut a Rose Petal Pink frame to go on top using the Scallop Edge And Pierced Square Nesting Dies. Once you have cut that out, stick it on top with foam tape.

Now, as seen in Picture 4 📸 complete cutting panels of the blue and pink card to cover the outer and inside panels of the card.

Now fold over the score lines (as seen 📸) and stick the last inch strip on the ends facing together.

I finished with the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the above Rose Stamp Set, which I fussy cut around with scissors.

As you can see in Picture 5 📸 where I have tried to hold it down - when pressed down - the frame matches up with the picture and I’ve also placed some books on to show it folds down to fit into a envelope :-)

So that’s another easy card, and a another way you can use this fantastic Collection!!

Love the pink and blue together. Lovely card. I like colouring with water pencils I get a better finish than I do with alcohol markers . X
