Sweet Dixie Motorbike Themed Card Craftmania Preview Photo
Jamie Rodgers Blog - Easy Rider Sweet Dixie Card | Craftmania

This month is going really quickly I can’t believe we are almost in June and I’ve noticed I need some Guy cards soon .

So let’s use some of the blue papers in the bundle and make a quick and easy card .

I used a 8x8 white card blank and cut a bit of the light blue card slightly smaller and stuck in on.

Next I cut two blue stripe strips and one blue with the diamonds on,the measurements are 5cm x 15.5 cm and 3cm from the centre line to cut the bit out see picture.

Once you’ve done one you can draw round it on the others.

Now stick these on the card with the two stripe ones lower than the diamond one in the middle.

Using the Sue Wilson’s die ‘Scalloped End Rectangles’ from the Noble Collection I cut out a frame in silver mirror card and a back in white card stuck them together and placed on the card with foam pads.

Next I cut out the ‘motor bike’ die from Sweet Dixie - one in black, one in green, and one in silver and cut out bits from each to make it up.

You can of course leave it black and apply some gilding waxes that would also look good.

Using foam pads I stuck this onto the frame .

To finish I used the mini shadowed sentiment Happy Birthday in black and white card .

Told you it was easy .

Enjoy :))
