Hello Crafters....

This week is my final card with December's Hand Picked By Jamie Bundle!

It's that time after Christmas where I need a few "Thank You" cards, so I’ve made this very easy

6x6" flat card that you can run up in a jiffy to post.

First of all, take some white card and cut four border elements using Creative Expressions Elegant Lace Edger Die set. With your Gillian Die, cut out once with the outer edge, and then again with the plain outer edge die on its' own, and then the inner small plain circle.

Once you have done this, take another sheet of white card and emboss it using the Rope Chain Embossing Folder.

Next, you will need your Tea Rose Make Art Ink Pad, along with a Blending Brush OR Creative Expressions Smoothie. Colour your border die cuts, embossed card, plain backing from the Gillian Die and the small circle in the middle.

Now with your 6x6 White Card Blank, stick the border pieces on it to form a square (you might need to trim a small strip from the card when this is dry).

Next, take the black and white spotty pages from your Phill Martin Chalkboard Paper Pad and cut a piece to Matt on top of the borders (black side facing up).

Then trim the embossed card to stick onto that, then add another spotty sheet to layer. but on that only - white side up this time. Stick all of these down using either glue or Ultra Sticky Double Sided Tape.

For the final steps.....

Stick the solid coloured Gillian back element onto the card, and then add the intricate die cut onto that.

Again stick this to the centre of the card creating the main focal point.

For my sentiment, I chose to use the space of the small circle in the centre of the Gillian die.

I stamped "Thanks" from Jamie Rodgers Just A Note Stamp Set with my London Fog Memento Ink Pad on my small die cut circle and stuck this in the centre.

And that is your card finished!!!

I purposely made this to post, however if you wanted to dress it up a little more, then you could easily add some flowers / gems and layer up with foam pads.

Well I guess that’s it for the Blog this year, so on behalf myself Jamie, Zoe, and Ian..

‘Happy New Year’ to you all!

Lynn x
