Hand Picked By Jamie ~ November Bundle - Pure And Simple By Ian Rump-Smith

Welcome Crafters, to my last card tutorial with November's Hand Picked By Jamie Bundle....

I've gone for a nice clean and simple design, which is easy to make, and could work for so many different occasions.... so here goes!!

Pure And Simple By Ian Rump-Smith - November Hand Picked By Jamie Rodgers | Craftmania

You can find all the products used for my project in the Shopping List at the bottom of this page.

To begin with, I took an A4 sheet of white card and used my scoreboard to make it into a tri-fold, with three equal measurements.

Next, using the Touch of Romance Paper Pad from the Bundle, I chose a paper which was a darker tone of the solid pink (you will need two sheets for this).

Here you will need to cut three layers; one for the front, inside and back.

Once you have one of these, you can then use it to measure out the two remaining panels.

Leave a narrow white border around the outside, and once cut to size, you can stick them onto each fold. You can use either Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue or Double Sided Sticky Tape.

For the next step, take one sheet of pale pink card and pale blue card.

Using your Creative Expressions Ornate Octagon Triplet Die, cut three panels using the main solid panel from the die set - two pink and one blue.

Now, using the pretty patterned die from the set, cut out two blue and one pink.

Once you've die cut these, alternate them (as shown in my photo above) and stick them down

  • TOP TIP - With intricate dies like these, I would highly recommend using either a Woodware Ultra Fine Tip Glue Applicator Bottle, or even Creative Expressions Sticky Specks which just make it so much quicker and easier for you!

Mount you these onto some Craftmania Frosted Silver Foil Card and cut out with a border.

Glue each of these to the centre of each section of the card.

For my flowers, I used a John Next Door Flower Collection die set which has three lovely sized flowers you can make. Shop All John Next Door Flowers Designs

I cut the six layers out of Foundations Coconut White Card and then used my Alcohol Marker Pens to add a little colour to the flower. This is entirely up to you.... you can choose to colour them with any product you wish, cut them in coloured card, or simply leave them plain white!

Put each flower together, using two pieces for each, and use a dab of glue to stick.

Place a gem in the centre of each and then stick onto each panel (starting with the largest on the first panel and then work down as per photo).

For my sentiment, I used the Creative Expressions Shadow Sentiments - Sending Warm Wishes die set. This fits perfect as there are three separate words so we can have one in each panel under a flower.

Here I used foam pads to give it a slight lift.

To complete your card, add some gems or pearls to the centre of the exposed octagons on each panel.

How easy was that this week!

Give it a go and try out.. would love to see your different colour combinations...

As always, remember share your makes with us on our Facebook Group - Create With Craftmania And Jamie Rodgers.

Thanks for your support and kind comments, it means a lot to both myself and Lynn.

We look forward to seeing you soon with the brand NEW Bundle for December Tomorrow!
