Jamie Rodgers 'In and Out' Collection - Christmas Blush by Ian Rump-Smith

Hey everyone.

The time is getting close now and hope you are all organised and have most of your cards made.

I couldn't resist making a pink and white - In And Out - Christmas card, using Jamie's Collection was just perfect for it.

Step 1

I took a sheet of white card and creased it in half using a bone folder.

Next, using the dies from the Circle In and Out die set I cut 3 half circles on the edge length on the front of the card. I started right at the top and secured with low tack tape, ran through my die cutting machine and then repeated 2 more times.

If you have a little excess at either end, then just trim this off.

This is how it should look:

Step 2

Next I took a sheet of pale pink card and cut 3 circles using a circle die from the same die set.

I glued these to the card.

I have also glued a length of pink card inside so this set off the circles more.

Now this is going to sound strange but I had taken photos already before I decided to change my design so forgive me, but it gives you another option.

I now wanted to cover up the centre circle, but you will see it was a good choice.

Step 3

I used the centre of Jamie's Festive Collection Poinsettia Rings with a darker shade of pink and also a Matt silver linen card.

I glued both together and then added 4 pink pearls.

Now this fits perfectly on the centre circle.

Step 4

Next I cut 2 of the holly borders from the Festive Collection Christmas Borders in another pink tone.

Also, in a darker shade I cut out just 2 sizes using the Festive Collection Rippled Poinsettia

I used a foam mat and embossing tools to add some dimension before glueing them together.

2 large and 1 small for each flower.

I only needed 2 flowers.

Glue the assembled flowers to the top and bottom circles and add a gold pearl to each.

Step 5

Next I cut a thin strip of Matt gold card and glued this to the left side.

Glue the holly borders, also to the left of the card, and then cut off the excess. I added some silver gems as berries all the way down the border to add some sparkle to the card.

Step 6

Coming to the final stages now and next I cut out some Christmas Foliage pieces in white and silver and glued/tucked these under the central circle.

Step 7

Final step is the sentiment and I used the CE Festive Wishes die, cut in a dark pink. I glued this to the central circle.

Voila, the card is complete!

I was so happy with this one and hope you like it.

Thank you guys for joining me and hope you have a go at this card or I have given you some inspiration at least.

Until next week take care, stay warm and keep crafting!

What a pretty card that could be done in so many colour ways.

I love the border you used Ian, I actually thought it was a fancy peel off so seeing it in the hoping list it's now in my basket.

Thank you for the
