Nellie Snellen Design Team Spotlight ~ Winter Village By Lynn Lewis

Nellie Snellen Design Team Spotlight ~ Winter Village By Lynn Lewis | Craftmania Blog

Hello All :-)

I’m back again with this beautiful stamp by Nellie Snellen featuring a Winter Village Scene!

I wanted to make a statement card.... so I've used just black, white and a touch of silver.....

▪️Today we are creating a 7x10" card, using alternative black colour mat and layers.

▪️Cut out your black card which we are going to stamp our image onto, using a VersaMark Ink Pad.

Wipe over with a Woodware Magic Anti-Static Pad first. Then heat emboss with Cosmic Shimmer Detailed White Embossing Powder.

▪️Next, using Sue Wilson's Noble Collection - Scalloped End Rectangle Die Set, cut a frame in Craftmania's Frosted Silver Foil Card to fit around your image.

✅ You will have to cover a bit of the bottom and some bits will show through, but not to worry!

▪️Next, mat and layer with white, black and Frosted Silver Foil Card, and stick this onto a cut down 7x10" Card Blank.

▪️To finish, cut out the your Festive Wishes sentiment from Jamie Rodgers Pierced Collection three times. Then stick them together and adhere them onto the card.

▪️Now take Sue Wilson's Festive Collection - Pine And Holly Spray Die Set.

Select the berries and cut out 4. Cut them down and glue onto the card (as seen in my photos).

✅ These cover up some of the embossed bits that stick out from underneath the frame.

And there you are.... a very quick and easy card to make!

Don't forget, you can of course 'glitter it up' and make it sparkle if you so wish.

I'd love to see your take on this creation, so share with us on our Facebook Group - Create With Craftmania And Jamie Rodgers.

Until the next time, have fun

Lynn x
