Hello Crafters....
Today's project is a card made using the beautiful Sweet Dixie Moon Fairy craft die.
- Start by making your background with Dina Wakely's Media Gloss Sprays, using colours Fuchsia and Ocean. Simply spray these onto a piece of card and then leave them to dry (you will find they dry pretty quickly).
- When ready, cut a sheet of Rose Glow Foundations Pearl Card to fit the size of a 7x7" card.
- Next, take your background piece, and cut this using Sue Wilson's Noble Double Pierced Square Die Set, and stick these both onto the card.
Next take your Sweet Dixie Moon Fairy die and cut out the following using Maya Card :-
▪️1 x Pale Pink
▪️1 x Yellow
▪️1 x Black
▪️1 x Gold Non-Shedding Glitter Card
Then lightly rub Cosmic Shimmer Enchanted Gold Gilded Touch over your yellow moon with your finger (or Finger Dauber), and do the same using Pearl Gilded Touch, but this time over the black hair of the fairy.
Now you can paper piece the "Moon Fairy" as seen, by cutting out all the different elements and gluing them together. When you have finished, stick some mini gems onto the fairies ankles, wrists and neck and also stick anything shiny or glittery on the back the wings. Here I used some film I had in my stash. Now adhere the Moon Fairy onto your card, and stick some gems into the holes on the sleeve of the dress and hem.
To finish, cut out your Sweet Dixie 'Best Wishes' sentiment die and make some stars with gold non-shedding glitter card. Stick these onto your card....
